We just wrapped up the second day of our journey to film with custom harvest crews as they prepare for harvest. Today we traveled almost 600 miles from St. Louis, MO to Elk City, OK. Tonight we’re enjoying the fine hospitality of Misener Family Harvesters at their home base. When we arrived this afternoon, Dan showed us around their property and their incredible collection of antique John Deere tractors, most of them work too! We had a great time visiting with Dan, Emma, and Mom (Kristy) around the dinner table (YUM!), and then watched home videos and photographs of harvest experiences – so many great stories!! We can’t wait to shoot interviews with the Miseners tomorrow and Wednesday!!
